Tumblr, I’m sorry.
I’ve found someone new.
Her name is Reddit.
Yeah, she’s looks bland on the outside, but she’s quite knowledgeable. She can talk politics, find obscure and funny pictures, explain things to me like I’m five, and she even knows a few celebrities.
Ok, sometimes she gets a little random and shows me things I really don’t want to see and can get wild from time to time, but she makes up for it with mindful and well-presented topics of discussion.
Don’t get me wrong. You’re great. We’ll still see each other every day, we just may not talk as much. I’ve noticed everything cool you talk about, Reddit talks about it first.
We’ll still be friends, and I’ll come to you for personal reflection or something funny I want to talk to you about. But, for now, I’ll be hanging with Reddit.
This isn’t goodbye. More of a “see you around.”
